The City Livelihood and Home Industries Development Office (CLHIDO) is a Government Office Providing Vocational Skills Training for the Out-of-School Youths, Unemployed Adults, Students, and likewise Professionals.
Our training follows TESDA's Training Regulations thus providing competent skills training to the participants. The training is free (excluding projects and training materials) for a span of three months. After three months the trianee is then required to undergo an 240-hour or 512-hour on-the-job training. ( NOT ALL COURSES REQUIRE OJT's) After completing all the training requirements, the students are then encouraged to take the assessment examination by TESDA to test the students reliability and competency on the skill or skills he or she has acquired.
Vocational Courses are slowly gaining a reputation of high chances of getting employed than that of graduating from a degree course. Aside from the fact that Vocational Training is short term ( in a span of 3 to 6 months ), it is cheap and time flexible. Some professionals even undergo such Vocational Course Training being lured to a promise of high paying jobs abroad. The City Livelihood and Home Industries Development Office caters these programs. Relevant vocational courses are offered by our office. And what's more? It is virtually free!
