Graduates of our technical training are allowed to participate in the real technical world by attending an on-the-job-training. Such experience will enhance and solidify the concepts they learned theoretically in our training center and put in into practice.
Because of the good foundation at training, some students are favorably absorbed by the establishment as full time employees. We have students being employed at the establishments they formerly had their OJT at the City Hall of Dumaguete, Municipal Hall of Bacong, Municipal Hall of Sibulan, Water District of Dumaguete, Uy Matiao Trading, Office Box, and a lot local establishments and some are employed abroad in UAE, Canada, Australia, and the other parts of the world.
CLHIDO has been helping the Out-of-School Youth and unemployed adults through giving them free technical training. After 3 months and an additional 240-hour On-the-job training, the trainees are then prepared to join Philippines's proud workforce. The City Livelihood and Home Industries Development Office ( CLHIDO ) tries its best to connect with the trainees who are unemployed. Our Office continually communicate both to the Private and Public Units to seek available jobs that fits the training description of our graduates. Job hirings local and abroad are often posted on the information board (bulletin board) provided by the Office thus limiting its reach to the visiting graduates and other job seekers.
